Concepcion Marrero

Concepcion Marrero, 95, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday January 5, 2011 at St. Luke?s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Puerto Rico on December 8, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Leonor Montesino Padilla.

She was a devoted member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was active with the Cursillo Movement, Legion of Mary, Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and prison ministry.

She is survived by her sons, Miguel, Eugenio, Abraham, Ernesto, Antonio, Angel, and Jose, daughters, Myrna, Elsie, Luz Negron, and Emma, twenty one grandchildren, and twenty six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ramon.

Viewing hours will be held on Friday January 7th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
