Conrad "Smokey" Fedenko

November 4, 1927 — January 13, 2014

Conrad “Smokey” Fedenko, 86, of Hellertown, formerly of Bethlehem, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Hospice House of St. Lukes in Bethlehem. Born November 4, 1927 he was the son of the late Anna A. (Schultz) and Sergey Fedenko. He was married to Helen (Schumacher) Fedenko for 53 years until her passing on August 22, 2005.

Conrad worked at Bethlehem Steel retiring after 40 years of service. He also worked throughout the Lehigh Valley as a referee and umpire for high school athletics. He was a 1953 graduate of Bucknell University where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Conrad proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy. He was an active member of the Bethlehem YMCA.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Diane Mohap and husband John of Bethlehem and Carol Detrick and husband Kevin of Bethlehem and four granddaughters, Erin, Jacki, Allie and Katie.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.
