Conrad W. Lach, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Born in Berkley, MI, he was the son of the late Victoria (Scott) and Stanley Lach. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Lofthouse) Lach.
Conrad proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy where he attended Officer Candidate School. He served as a LTJG on the destroyer USS Wedderburn DD-684. He graduated from Kalamazoo College and earned his MBA from The Wharton School of Business. He worked as a computer salesman until his retirement. Conrad enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing bridge as well as volunteering for Meals on Wheels for 19 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Lach; son, David J. Lach and his wife, Pamela; daughter, Carolyn L. Canavan and her husband, John, and grandchildren, Daniel and his wife, Courtney of California, Steven of Colorado, Nicole of Washington D.C. and Colin of New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014 or to Meals on Wheels, 4240 Fritch Dr., Bethlehem, PA 18020.
