Constance M. Kita

Constance M. Kita, 90, of Bethlehem Township, and more recently Fellowship Community in Whitehall, passed on June 4, 2024. She was born in Bethlehem on May 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Kotash) Gori. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Kita in 1991.

Connie will be lovingly remembered for her dedication to her family. She was proud of the home that she and her husband built together and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. The pool and patio could often be found filled with laughter and joy. Guests enjoyed playing poker, swimming, throwing bean bags, eating corn from Joe's garden, and other great foods that Connie prepared.

Connie also enjoyed listening to polka music and watching QVC.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Joseph R. Kita and his wife, Maria; grandchildren, Paul and Claire; great grandchildren, Theodore, Matilda, and Calvin; as well as her brother, Edward Gori.

Connie was predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Joseph, and Robert Gori, and sister, Cynthia Leashefski.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at her parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St., Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 9-10 a.m. immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
