Constantine Tarasuk

Constantine Tarasuk, 87, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Born on June 2, 1926 in Clifton Township, he was the son of the late Roman and Alexandria (Supchick) Tarasuk. He was the husband of Alice (Baker) Tarasuk, they celebrated 59 years of marriage last June. He retired from the U. S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 24 years of service and also Lehigh County Prison in 1998.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice; children, Ric Tarasuk & wife, Roseann, Marina Woodring & husband, Donald, Catherine McKenney & husband, Richard, and Stephen Tarasuk & wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Gary Woodring & wife, Cathy, Adam and Scott Woodring, Shawn McKenney & fianc, Kristin Collcchio, Jacqueline and Ashley Tarasuk; great grandson, Ryan McKenney, and a 2nd great grandson to be born in March; sisters, Alice Zwarycz and Tanya Kauffman. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a 12 p.m. Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
