Cynthia Potter

Cynthia M. "Cindy" Potter, 67, of Allentown died on Monday, December 9, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 9, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Koder) and Michael Lisi, Jr. She was the loving wife of David S. Potter.

Cindy worked at the Hawthorne House and more recently at the Comfort Suites where her customers became like family. She loved working, knitting blankets for her grandchildren, going to the beach and tending to her garden. She was known to her grandchildren as "Super Grandma," always there when they needed her. Being able to visit her son in Germany brought her so much joy. Cindy will be remembered for her big heart and when leaving her family, would say "I love you to the beach and back."

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 7 years, David S. Potter; sons, Jim Rockel, Jr. (Becky) and Kevin Rockel (Maria); daughter, Nicole DeShields (Randall); brother, Dennis Lisi; sister, Diane Kametz; stepdaughter, Brittney Potter (Irven Pragle) and the loves of her life, her 12 grandchildren, Nicholas, Arianna, Christopher, Lydia, Matt, Evy, Jayson, Josslynn, Mason, Maverick, Naomi and Irven, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 10 a.m-12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
