Cyril M. Krajci, Jr.

Cyril Cy M. Krajci, Jr., 64, of Hellertown, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008. He was the husband of Brenda J. Muhr Krajci. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary last April. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Cyril M. Krajci, Sr., and Sadie Minarik Krajci, and was the stepson of Anna Velas Krajci.

A 1960 graduate of Fountain Hill High School, Cy graduated from Moravian College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.

Cy enjoyed a 34-year career with ExxonMobil, working as the audit manager in various locations in the United States, England, Japan, Norway, and Nigeria.

During his last five years with ExxonMobil, he held the position of audit training coordinator in Houston, TX, and was responsible for training internal auditors worldwide. He was a CPA and was a member of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors. He frequently conducted seminars throughout the country for The Institute of Internal Auditors.

After moving back to the Lehigh Valley upon retirement, Cy's great passion was his work at Moravian College. He was a member of the College Board of Trustees, involved in various committees, and participated in many college-related activities. He and his wife, Brenda, co-chaired the inauguration of President Christopher M. Thomforde at the college, held in April 2007. Cy had many interests, including reading, music, photography, sports, and driving his Porsche. He was a member of the Porsche Club of

America.

Survivors: His wife, Brenda; stepmother Anna Krajci; brothers Andrew Posivak and wife Eleanor, and Mark Krajci and wife Helena; sisters-in-law Sandra Puzauskas and husband John, Donna Bendas and husband Michael, and Linda Walker and husband John; 14 nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours 6-9 p.m. Sunday, February 17, at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, at Moravian College in Foy Hall, Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus, Main and Church Streets, Bethlehem. Parking will be available under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge.

Interment will take place at a later date.
