Damasa Da Silva, 60, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Friday June 26, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus. She was born in San Juan Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Jose and Rosa Maria (Matos) Castro. She was the wife of Manuel Da Silva. They were married for 36 years this past May 18th. Damasa enjoyed cooking for her family, watching TV, talking on the telephone, getting her nails done, and going out to dinner. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Kenya, who passed just recently. Most importantly, Damasa enjoyed spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Manuel, daughters, Elizabeth Da Silva and partner Micael Rocha, and Veronica and husband Joseph Da Costa, 3 brothers, 7 sisters, grandchildren, Sofia Da Silva, and Victoria Rocha, and 9 nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday June 30, 2021 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday July 1, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
