Daniel J. Tutolo, 84, of Bethlehem died Friday December 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born on December 28, 1924 in Bethlehem son of the late Victorio and Philomena Servodio Tutolo. He was the husband of the late Marion L. Tutolo and father of the late Vicki Wolf.
Daniel worked in various departments for the Bethlehem Steel Co. He served his country in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WW II. He was a petty officer 3rd class gunners mate on the destroyer USS Eisele 1944. He also played drums for the Polka Yanks. He loved to go to Mahoney's and also loved Pete's Hot Dog Shop. He was a great guy who will be surely missed by all who knew him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his great niece, Diane Uliana and niece Felicia Horoschock both of Bethlehem, granddaughter, Jodie Kleppinger of Whitehall , grandson, Jeremy Wolf, 3 great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30PM Wednesday December 16, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Luke's Dialysis Center 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015 , and/or to The Disabled American Veterans National Service Foundation 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, Ky. 41076
