Daniel Patrick Gallagher

Daniel Buddy Patrick Gallagher, 85, of Bethlehem died on January 2, 2012.

He was born in Bethlehem; son of the late Daniel and Julia Gallagher.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Christine Reiss Gallagher.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a graduate of Moravian College.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. where he worked as an Industrial Engineer.

Daniel was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; his sister, Jean Ballenberger of Scottsdale, AZ. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

Uncle Buddy will be missed greatly by the three younger generations of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was a former member of the Hellertown American Legion and the Bethlehem Steel Club.

A viewing will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Monday at Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
