Daniel R. Mohring

Daniel R. Mohring, 71, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Daniel was born in Bethlehem and was the son of the late Albert and Clara Palik Mohring Sr. and the husband of Shirley Bellen Mohring with whom he celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this past January.

Dan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed being with his family. His favorite pastimes were cooking, working on his cars and tinkering in his yard. Dan worked for Sure Fit Products in Bethlehem, in the maintenance department retiring in 2001 with 40 years service.

Daniel will be lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley Bellen Mohring, three daughters, Joanne Seif and her husband Bruce of Bethlehem, Diane Hrichak and her husband Robert of Bethlehem and Cheryl Jacobs and her husband Keith of Bethlehem Township, a brother Albert Mohring, Jr of Queensbury, NY, a sister Nancy Hamerick of Reno, NV and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his loving dog Sandy.

Daniel is predeceased by his parents, and a sister Dorothy Dooley.

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc.245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial following service at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA.
