David A. Elchin

David A. Elchin, 63, of Bethlehem died Wednesday September 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1949 in Jersey City, N.J. son of the late Andrew and Stella (Filipczak) Elchin.

David was a golf professional at many golf courses in the Lehigh Valley and the Pocono's. Most recently he was the golf professional at Sweet Water Golf Course in Pennsburg, Pa. and a member of the Professional Golf Association. David was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Sara Elchin of Bethlehem, and several cousins.

He was predeceased by a son Andrew Elchin.

A prayer service will be held 9:15am Monday September 10, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. A viewing will be held 6-8pm Sunday evening and 8:15am-9:15am Monday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
