David A. LeVan, 84, of Whitehall formerly of Bethlehem, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. Born August 29, 1933 in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Lillian (Kline) and David LeVan. He was married to Gail J. (Hollenbeck) LeVan with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this coming September 20th.
David worked as a Milkman for Abbotts Diary and Suncrest Farms and prior to that he worked for his fathers shoe store Endicott Johnson. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Formosa, Taiwan. He was a lifetime member of the Fountain Hill Hose Company and the Roosevelt Democratic Club. David liked collecting coins and Lionel Trains and he thoroughly enjoyed riding around in his Ford Mustang.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail, son, David LeVan and wife Amy, daughters, Denise Rapp wife of Michael, Dale Konsevitch wife of Greg, and Dina Wanamaker, sister, Lilly Repasch, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Clark.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa 18018 from 9-11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem.
