David C. Christ

David C. Christ Jr., 77, of Allentown, PA passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. He was born in Scranton, PA, the son of the late David C. Christ Sr. and Dorotha (Roche) Christ. David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College and Masters degree in social work from Marywood University. He was a social worker for Allentown State Hospital for over 25 years before retiring. David was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War and became a military history buff. He loved nature, the outdoors, and all the wildlife and animals.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters; Dr. Meghan Christ, and Heather Christ and partner Dennis, fiance; Tanya Reckus, stepdaughter; Maria Petti and husband Garett, and grandchildren; Adrielle and Ailyn.

Graveside services will be held 11am Friday July 28th, 2023 at St. Catherines Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
