David C. Eckhart, 70, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Born on August 9, 1953, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Frances (Kramer) Eckhart.

Dave graduated from Freedom High School. He served our country in the United States Army. He was a huge Musikfest fanatic—you could find him there every day, no matter what. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends on the weekends and spending time at Heights AA.

Dave is survived by his sister, Diane Kovacs; two brothers, Dennis (Carol Eckhart and Donald Eckhart; and daughter, April.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Kovacs.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
