David Koch

David Koch, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 after a noble battle against Leukemia. He was born June 2, 1938 in Bethlehem; son of the late Frank and Mildred (Pearson) Koch. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Rosemarie T. (Kirka) Koch.

David retired from the City of Bethlehem after 27 years of service at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. He was a member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Assoc.

He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Beverly Phillips of Allentown; Deborah wife of Carl Blank of Freemansburg; sons, David Koch, Jr. of Macungie and Brian Koch of Bethlehem; a sister, Mary Jane and brothers, Edward, Frank, Earl, Richard, Norman and Charles; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. David was predeceased by his sisters, Henrietta Sipos and Dorothy Kostic and his brothers, Donald, Robert and William

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Monday, December 10, 2012 at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a ceremony to follow at 11. Burial will be held at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American cancer Society 3893 Adler Pl. Suite 170 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
