David Leroy Morgan

David LeRoy Morgan, 30, of Bethlehem died on Sunday, February 26, 2012.

He was born January 5, 1982; son of Carl George "Chopsie" and Terri Lee Metz Morgan.

David was a graduate of Liberty High School and Wilkes University. Baseball was a major part of his life and he played for North Central L. L., The Jeffs of the Northampton County American Legion, Liberty High School, Wilkes University and the Blue Jays of the Blue Mountain League. David later played softball in the Bethlehem City League and on travel teams as well.

He worked for React Environmental Services, Inc. since his college graduation in 2005.

He will be dearly missed by his parents; brother Carl Morgan III; his grandmother, Marjorie Taylor as well as his aunts and uncles, Mary Lou Anderson; Carol and Paul DeAngelis; Linda and Cliff Hubbs; Debra and Larry Geiger; John and Barbara Morgan, Patti Price and Douglas Metz and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A ceremony to celebrate David's life will be held on Thursday at 9 AM in the funeral home and interment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
