David M. Swirczewski, 56, of New Tripoli, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 22, 2022.
The world lost a devoted father, adoring husband, culinary genius, a storyteller that captivated his audience, passionate businessman, and a loyal friend.
Born on October 19, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Barbara (Marcus) and the late John Willard Swirczewski.
A graduate and valedictorian of Bridgewater High Schools Class of 1984, David went on to study engineering with a concentration in mathematics at Clarkson University while also playing Division I ice hockey.
He started out as an engineer for Exxon Mobil before transitioning into the financial sector in New York City. David loved working in the city because he was able to compete with the best and brightest minds in finance. Advancing through the ranks from sales to President, David went on to open his own mortgage companies. Over the last 10 years, David has been consulting for financial and commercial businesses and most recently as general manager for his father-in-laws construction company.
Davids number one love was his family. He delighted in watching his childrens soccer games, teaching his son Nolan to play ice hockey, or vacationing at the beach. On any night, you could find him in the kitchen cooking one of his famous meals, enjoying a glass of wine while watching his favorite sports team the New York Rangers or loving on his dog, Elsa. David was kind, generous and had a contagious personality by always bringing warmth to the room.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Swirczewski.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Natasha (Beers) Swirczewski; son: Nolan Swirczewski; daughter: Nadia Swirczewski; mother: Barbara Swirczewski; in-laws: Bruce and Debra Beers; sister-in-law Tanya Reppert and family Chris, Jack, and Zoe: sister-law-law Trisha Cancelliere and family, Skylar and Tristin; and sister: Beth Bennett.
