David R. Horveath, Sr.

David R. Horveath, Sr., 70, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on April 26, 1940, he was the son of the late Stephen and Irene Danis Horveath. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra West Horveath.

David was a career truck driver, retiring in 2002 from Roadway of Tannersville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne, a member of the North End Wanderers, and the Flea's Club of Easton. He had a love for traveling and motorcycling.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra of Bethlehem; sons, David, Jr. of Bethlehem; and Tracey of Bowmanstown; sister, Dolores Allogio of Bath; and his two grandchildren, Gunnar and Brenna. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday March 31st at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
