David R. Strohl

David R. Strohl, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Anderson.

Born on February 19, 1948, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Howard and Lucy (Pfeiffer) Strohl.

David graduated from Saucon Valley High School and served our country in the Army Reserves. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College and his master’s degree from Kutztown University. Dave was a longtime math teacher at Moravian Academy, both upper and lower campuses—he also coached cross country and basketball at the academy. In his free time, Dave enjoyed running and biking—he ran multiple ultra marathons and numerous century rides.

Dave will be dearly missed by his beloved wife and soulmate, Nancy H. Schwartz; brother, Howard L. (Barbara) Strohl; many nieces and nephews; and his three precious dogs who were by his side always.

A celebration of David’s life will be announced at a later date.
