David W. Garr

David W. Garr, 62, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest Campus. David was born and raised in Nazareth and was the son of Beverly A. (Shimaski) and the late Wesley R. Garr. He was married to Cheryl (Hume) Garr with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage this past November 14th.

David was a graduate of Moravian University and worked for Georgia Pacific. He was an avid sports fan, and could always be found watching the MLB network and cheering on the New York Mets.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl, mother, Beverly, son, Tyler Garr, daughter, Lindsay wife of Justin Cowling, sisters, Christine, wife of David Tripp, Lori, wife of Bruce Baloga, and Kathleen, wife of Calvin Smith, brother, Thomas Garr, 7 nephews, and one granddaughter on the way.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Davids name to a local animal rescue of ones choice.
