Dean Keinert

Dean G. Keinert, 74, of Northampton, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October, 19, 2024 in Wilmington, NC. Born on October 31, 1949, he was the son of the late George E. and Gladys L. (Nierhaus) Keinert. He was the loving husband of Elaine S. (Stair) Keinert.

Dean proudly served his country as a member of the United State Navy. He graduated from Dieruff High School class of 1968 and spent much of his career at Coca-Cola where he made syrup for the sodas. Being outside hiking, biking and especially, golfing brought so much joy to Dean's life. He organized and created Keinert's Kids golf group which more than 40 men were a part of. He loved spending time with his dogs and cherished his family dearly.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Elaine S. Keinert; sister, Carol J. Keuhner and her husband, Gerald; sister in law's, Jean Kashnicki and her husband, Jeff and Carol Smugeresky and her husband, Joseph. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews whom he shared a special bond with and he loved so deeply.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 9-11:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park
