Deborah Carlson

Deborah "Debbie" S. Carlson, 70, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born on May 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Elenore (Koehler) and Kenneth Fuls. She was the loving wife of Philip B. Carlson.

Debbie worked for over 40 years for the State of Pennsylvania, retiring from the Department of Welfare. She was a Philadelphia Phillies superfan, rarely missing a game. She enjoyed playing Bingo, watching old westerns and soap operas, especially General Hospital and trying her luck with lottery tickets. A selfless person, Debbie volunteered countless hours at the Lehigh Little League snack stand.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Philip B. Carlson; son, Philip K. Carlson (Allison); stepsons, Scott Carlson and Daniel Carlson (Erin); brothers, Scott, Mark, Eric and Kenneth Fuls and step grandchildren, Estrella, Holden and Sloane.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
