Deirdre Maureen Maclean

MacLean, Deirdre Maureen, of Uncasville, CT, formerly of Bethlehem, PA, died on December 20, 2014. Deirdre was born in Bethlehem on July 23, 1961. She was 53 years old. Deirdre attended St. Annes Parochial School, and Bethlehem Catholic High School. She attended Allentown College of St Francis de Sales before moving to New York City. Deirdre had also lived in Weehawkin, NJ, and Seattle, WA before moving to Uncasville, CT. She was married to William Donehey of Uncasville, CT.

Deirdre was predeceased by her parents; Francis J. MacLean, Jr. and Eleanor McIntyre MacLean; and a brother, Timothy F. MacLean.

Along with her husband Deirdre is survived by her brothers: Duncan, of Easton, PA; Kevin, of Wyomissing, PA; Colin, of San Antonio, TX; and Manus (Tanya) of Philadelphia, PA; her sisters: Margaret (Thomas) Harp, of Allentown, PA; Maura (Joseph) Monte, of Mays Landing, NJ; Monica (Dennis) Brogan, of Davenport, IA; and Bridget (Michael) Lai, of Maplewood, NJ.

Deirdre will also be missed by eighteen nephews and nieces: Natalie, Brenda, and Rebecca Harp; Dominic, Timothy, Amanda, Karen and Emily Monte; Lucien, Marena and Kyle Lai; Brian and Matthew Brogan; Meagan MacLean; Brendan, Moira, Preston and Marcus Mac Lean. She was great-aunt to 12 grandnephews and nieces.

Services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your local womens shelter would be appreciated.
