Denise Ann Hartzell

Denise Ann Hartzell, 39, of Glastonbury, CT died on Nov. 29, 2007 in Manchester Memorial Hospital. She is the daughter of Robert and Rita Ellen Sedlock Hartzell of Bridgeville, DE.

Denise was an outstanding individual who excelled in all she attempted. Her smile lit up the room and her kind heart touched everyone. She graduated from Girls? Preparatory School in Chattanooga, TN. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at University of Tennessee @ Chattanooga. She was awarded the Golden Key for Scholastic Excellence at UTC, where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

As a nurse and lifetime member of the Association of Women?s Health, Obstetrical & Neonatal Nursing, Denise delivered many new little blessings and helped thousands of individuals get well. She was the Nursing Supervisor of Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT at the time of her death.

Surviving with her parents Robert and Rita Ellen are her Maternal Grandmother, Mrs. Irene M. Seitz Sedlock of Bethlehem; sister, Christine M. Vogel; her niece, Courtney and nephew, Connor of Glastonbury, CT; Aunt Cecelia Field of Bethlehem, PA; her cousin, Ryan W. Field of Lake Tahoe, CA, and her Uncle Philip J. Sedlock of Clifton Park, NY.

She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Joseph Sedlock and her Maternal Grandparents Mark and Elizabeth Hartzell.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 10:30 AM in Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Anne?s Catholic Church 450 Washington St. Bethlehem.

Visitation will be held on visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:30 AM.

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.
