Dennis M. Silfies

Dennis M. Silfies, 78, formerly of Bethlehem, died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Easton Campus. He was the husband of the late Judith E. (Fry) Silfies who died Dec. 12, 1995. Dennis was born July 3, 1945 in Allentown to the late Charles S. and Joann Marie (Berzkovits) Silfies. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel in the Coke Works Division as a Welder for many years until retiring. Dennis was a past member of the Bethlehem Golf League.

Survivors: Jeffrey (Julie) Silfies of Bethlehem, Sheryl (Hector) Ortiz of Emmaus; brother: Timothy R. Silfies of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren: Courtney, Hailey, Jaclyn. Predeceased by siblings: John & Ronald Silfies, Brenda Roland.

Service: Family and friends are invited to his visitation 10-11am Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street-Bethlehem follow by a service at 11:00am. The inurnment will conclude services at the Bethlehem Memorial Park. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
