Dianne K. Schoch

February 25, 1946 — April 21, 2023

Dianne K Schoch (77), born February 25, 1946, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 21, 2023 in the loving home of Jordan, Anoop, & Neiladri. Dianne was raised in Bethlehem, PA and spent her life raising her children, Sharon Brady, Thomas Salabsky, and Jordan Pai Palimar (adopted) on Washington Avenue, down the street from her beloved parish, St. Anne's. Dianne was a proud grandmother to Jordan, Erin, Rebecca, Brianna, Vincent, and great-grandmother to Sophia, Sage, Nora, and Neiladri. She became widowed after 38 years of marriage to Kenneth Schoch and lovingly raised her step-children, Kenneth, Keith, Karl, and Kerry.

She was the proud daughter of the late MaryGrace (Jordan) Hinkle and Delbert K. Hinkle. She loved her younger sister Sharon Seitz and late brother Delbert Hinkle immensely, and fondly talked of their joyful childhood together growing up on Henderson St.

Dianne was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1963 and attended Manor Junior College and Northampton Community College, studying early childhood education. She retired from Sayre Child Center as a preschool educator.

Dianne enjoyed watching television shows and classic movies, listening to show tunes, and "benefiting older Pennsylvanians" through lottery scratch-off tickets. She adored being around children and was a fantastic storyteller. She hosted many family gatherings over the years creating fond memories through her cooking, love of family, and the passing on of many traditions to her grandchildren.

Other surviving members of her family include: her beloved son-in-law, Jack Brady; sister-in-law, Kate Hinkle; and her nephews Jason Seitz, Mark, Adam, and Brian Hinkle and their families. She was pre-deceased by her Godson, A.J. Seitz.
