Dianne M. Silfies

Dianne M. Silfies, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was the cherished and beloved wife of Elwood P. Silfies. Born in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late Earle M. Laub and Arleyne (Werner) Laub. Dianne loved the 18 years she spent working for the City of Bethlehem as the Secretary to several Police Commissioners. She will always live in the heart of her husband of almost 65 years “El”; son Scott Silfies and his wife Mary; grandsons Jeremy and Bradley Silfies and great grandson Aiden Silfies all of Little Rock AR; daughter Lisa Sankovsky and her husband Eric of Bethlehem, granddaughter Whitney Sankovsky of Costa Rico; granddaughter Lindsay Burke and her husband Ryan and great grandson Maxwell Burke of Bethlehem; sister Marianne Laub of Laurys Station and sister in law Maria Laub of Pen Argyl. She was preceded in death by her brother Armand Laub and daughter in law Nancy Silfies. Dianne loved spending time with her family and amazing friends, Musikfest, Disney World and planning and going on her many vacations. Services were privately held. An invitation is extended to all who knew and loved Dianne to gather outdoors at the home of Lisa and Eric on July 25th at 1:00 to honor and remember her life.
