Dimitri E. Diamandopoulos, 75, of Bethlehem died at his residence on Sunday, November 22, 2015. He was born January 31, 1940 in Ismailia, Egypt; son of the late Emmanuel and Marica (Protopapas) Diamandoulis. Dimitri was the beloved husband of 49 years to Suzanne (Griffiths) Diamandopoulos.

Dimitri attended Moravian Prep and later graduated from Moravian College. Upon graduation, Dimitri was hired by IBM, where he worked for 30 years. Before retiring, Dimitri worked for Gateway Computers and later SCT as the Director of Information Technology. Dimitri was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Bethlehem. He was also a member of East Bath Rod and Gun Club and the Freemasons. He served in the National Guard and attended Officer Candidate School. Dimitri was dedicated to his family and enjoyed getting together at family gatherings.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Suzanne; son, Dimitri E. Diamandopoulos, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Whitehall. He is survived by brothers, Anthony Diamond and his wife, Beulah; and George Diamantopoulos and his wife, Xeni; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA. 18018. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peaceable Kingdom, 1049 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052; Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S 12th St #101, Allentown, PA 18103; or the charity of your choice.
