Dolores "Cookie" Velardi

Dolores “Cookie” Velardi, 82, of Bethlehem, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on August 14, 2023.

Born on April 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Boletti) and Frank Wallich.

Cookie enjoyed going to Atlantic City and spending time at the casino. She also enjoyed playing cards. Cookie will be remembered for her love for her family—above all she was a tremendous wife, mom and nan.

Cookie will be dearly missed by her two sons, Jerry and Vinny Velardi; daughter-in- law, Robin; brother, Frank Wallich; two sisters, Eileen Link and Shirley Lachiewicz; and two grandchildren, Tony and Jessica.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Velardi who passed in 1994 and her sister, Cathy Wallich.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. in the funeral home. Interment will be Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick, NJ 08816. We will gather at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
