Dolores E. Werkheiser

Dolores E. Werkheiser, 77, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, June 22, 2015. She was born in Allentown; daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor (Miller) Falco. Dolores worked for the Ukrainian Orthodox Club in Allentown as a waitress for 30 years where she was also a member. Earlier, she worked for Western Electric and Fashion Prints. Dolores was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her unselfish, kind and beautiful heart; her enjoyment came from making arts and crafts and fondness of Polka music.

Dolores was the rock of the family and will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Steven L. Werkheiser of Bethlehem; Kenneth A. Werkheiser and wife, Debbie of Wilkes-Barre, PA; Keith A. Werkheiser of Bethlehem; and Brian J. Werkheiser of Larksville, PA. She will also be dearly missed by her loving sister, Shirley Cope of Bethlehem; and three grandsons, Ryan, Kenneth, Jr., and Nicholas. Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Louis “Butch” Falco.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1681 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
