Donald A. Sigley

Donald Allen Sigley, 84, passed away peacefully in Palm Beach Gardens, FL on July 2, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, PA on September 17, 1936, Donald was the loving husband of the late (10/26/20) Marlene (Schwartz) Sigley for 63 years and resided in Emmaus, PA. He was the last surviving child of the late: Sterling and the Stella (Place) Sigley.

Don retired from Bethlehem Steel after 29 years of employment as the Corporate Security Foreman. He then worked an additional 25 years for Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem, PA.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, passion for sports, especially baseball and love of his wife. Don brought smiles to everyone who crossed his path. He enjoyed being a jokester! Everyone who knew him, all have a humorous story to tell. He made a positive impact on everyone he met. Whenever traveling he always crossed paths with someone he knew, his friendships lasted forever.

He will be missed and remembered dearly by his loving daughter Lori Lucas and husband Jim of Wellington, FL, his son Donald Sigley, Jr and wife Jennifer of Pensacola, FL, his 4 grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Dylan, Lauren Ramsey and her husband Rhett, as well as numerous friends and relatives.

Don and Marlene no longer suffer as they have reunited and found everlasting peace and love.

A celebration of life will be held for both Marlene and Donald at 10 am on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem, PA followed by the burial at Northwood Cemetery Harrison St Emmaus, PA. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 9-10 am. A reception will follow at Fire Company #2 in Emmaus, PA.

The family would like to thank Sandra Casanova for helping in the care of Donald and Marlene the past three years. We thank her for the love, friendship, kindness and compassion she gave to them.
