Donald E. Brady

Donald E. Brady, 84, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, February 3, 2012.

He was born October 1, 1927; son of the late William J. and Ruth Cool Brady.

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Victoria G. Gonzalez Brady.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. in 1989 after 38 years of service as an instrument repairman.

Don was also the caretaker of the Laros Estate in Bethlehem for 45 years and served as a crossing guard for the Bethlehem Area School District for 12 years.

He was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Don was also a member of the North End Wanderers and the MORA Club.

Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Victoria; daughter, Beverly B. Quigney; son, Daniel C. Brady and his wife, Debra all of Bethlehem as well as two granddaughters, Allison Quigney and Brenna Brady.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Timothy Quigney and his sister, Margaret Gangwere.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 8-9:30 AM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
