Donald Edward Naylor

Donald Naylor, 78, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, July 7, 2011at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born October 28, 1932 in Bethlehem; the son of the late Chester and Evelyn Willimet Naylor.

Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Janet Shelhamer Naylor.

He retired as an Asbestos Worker and was a member of the Insulators Local #23. Donald also had a passion for farming which he retired from in 1980.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; daughters, Kim Naylor Reichenbach and her husband Tony of Bethlehem; Sherry Nelson and her husband Rex of Las Vegas, NV; Phyllis Sinclair and her husband Mike of Allentown and Patti Arndt and her husband Donald of Saylorsburg as well as his seven grandchildren and brother, Richard Naylor of Bethlehem.

Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Vazquies.

He enjoyed animals and was an avid fisherman and hunter but he especially loved spending time with his family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 10 to 11 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a ceremony to celebrate Donald's life to immediately follow.

Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
