Donald J Wright Sr.

Donald J. Wright Sr., 80, of Coopersburg, died Wednesday October 19, 2011. Born in Joliet, IL; he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Roettger Wright. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice Stephenson Wright. Donald worked as a truck driver for 50 years and was employed by various companies. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Bernice, son, Donald Jr. and wife Catherine, daughters, Katherine Yons wife of Arlin and Melisa Gill wife of Timothy, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 22nd at 10 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Viewing hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday October 21st from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice.
