Donald K. Doland

Donald Kenneth Doland, age 87, passed away on August 15, 2021 in his Bethlehem home. Donald will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandpop.

Donald is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce, daughter, Cheryl (Jim), and granddaughters Anne (Stephen), Hannah, and Sarah.

A proud Air Force veteran, he enjoyed knitting, excursions to Hot Dog Johnnys, and Baileys Irish Cream. Above all, he especially loved spending time with, and was extremely proud, of his granddaughters, who will miss him dearly.

Donald graduated from Washington High School in 1952, where he met his wife and best friend, Joyce. They spent several happy years at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. He spent his career as a banker working for First National Bank of Allentown, Mellon Bank, and Lafayette Bank. He retired from banking and worked for Bethlehem Precast, where he was able to spend his days driving and chatting with others; two things he never tired of.

A private service was held August 18, 2021 at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
