Donald R. Bednar, Sr.

Donald R. Bednar, Sr., 71, of Hanover Twp. died on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at L.V. Muhlenberg Hospital.

He was born in Bethlehem the son of Flora Fenstermacher Bednar and the late John Bednar.

Donald is survived by his loving wife Jo Ann A. Bednar of Hanover Twp.

He retired from Air Products where he had over 30 years of service as a machinist.

Donald will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jo Ann; daughters Bonnie L. Taglang of Hellertown; and Donna L. Bednar- Cornelius of Old Lyme, CT; and his son Donald R. Bednar, Jr. of Quakertown. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Brett and Kyle Taglang; Louis and James Bednar; and Ryan and Erin Cornelius.

In his earlier days, Donald was a race car driver and remained a NASCAR fan throughout the years.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2007 from 7-9PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

On Wednesday February 7, 2007 a graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Rd. in Allentown at 12 noon.
