Donald R. Sillivan, Sr.

Donald R. Sillivan, Sr., 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, September 09, 2019. Born in Sergant, NE he was the son of the late Thomas and Bessie (Zion) Sillivan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice (Conrad) Sillivan, in 1968 and his second wife, Joanne Hunter Sillivan, in 2013.

Along with Frank Chiles, Don founded Chiles & Sillivan, Inc. in 1950. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in WWII.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Rita Smith & husband James and Rusty Sillivan & wife, Sue; grandchildren, Michelle and Seamus; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Amanda, Melissa, Declan and Maeve; great-great-granddaughters, Brooklynne, Madeleine and Allanna; and step-children, Susan Kuehl and Jeffrey Little.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. service will follow, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
