Donna M. Schroeder

Donna M. Schroeder, 61, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018; she was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bethlehem on April 5, 1957, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Faulds) Strunk and the late Horace Strunk. She was the wife of Larry D. Schroeder; they were married for 27 years and together for 34.

Donna was a 1998 graduate of the St. Lukes School of Nursing and was currently working as an RN for Coordinated Health. Donna was a born nurturer; it was evident in her compassion and dedication to her career and the selfless love she gave to her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Elizabeth; husband, Larry; children: Timothy Transue, Jr. and wife Eliza, Shannon Andrews and husband Jimmy, Timothy Schroeder and wife Tricia, and Thomas Schroeder; grandchildren: Jude, Colin, Gabriel, Christian, Jack, Lily, Madison, and Sasha; and her siblings: Denise Eckert, David Strunk, Myles Strunk, and Mark Strunk. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Strunk, Sr.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Monday, April 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. A 7 p.m. memorial service will follow, in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Condolences may be offered online at www.connellfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in Donnas name to Connell Funeral Home. All contributions will be used towards an education fund for Donnas grandchildren.
