Doreen A. "Tootie" Lipsky

Doreen A. “Tootie” Lipsky, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born in Bethlehem on April 4, 1935; daughter of the late Kalman and Margaret (Thornton) Lasko. Tootie is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Edward F. Lipsky, Sr., a resident of Holy Family Manor.

Tootie will be remembered for her generous and kind heart, the love she shared for her family; especially her grandchildren, her tough and spunky attitude and her wonderful cooking. She enjoyed traveling; especially to Ocean City, MD, and going out to dinner with her husband, as well as playing cards with neighbors and friends.

Tootie will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kelly and husband, Michael Lutseo; son, Joseph Lipsky and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Tyler, Josh and wife, Cheryl, Desmarie and Daria and great grandchildren, Reese and Norah. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward, Jr. and brother, Kalman “Pulley” Lasko.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to celebrate Tooties life to immediately follow. Burial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611.
