Doris C. Oechsle

Doris C. Oechsle, 94, passed away on October 20, 2021, at Devon House Senior Living in Allentown, PA. She was born on October 30, 1926 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Stanley and Elsie (Seifert) Zingler.

Doris graduated from Liberty high school in 1945. She served as a secretary for Bethlehem Steel Corp. She will lovingly be remembered for her selflessness; the happiness of her family always came first.

Doris will be dearly missed by her son, Thomas E., his wife Pam, and their two children, Morgan and LinLi; and step-son, Edward H., his wife Susan, and his son, Jason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Oechsle, Sr.; and three brothers, Stanley, Elwood, and Warren.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Devon House Senior Living for the wonderful care provided to Doris.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 474 Vine St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
