Doris M. Hartzell

Doris M. Hartzell, 92, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Weston Senior Living in Emmaus. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (King) and Albert Fritzinger. She was married to William Hartzell for 48 years until his death on February 22, 1996.

Doris was a member of Notre Dame Church. She was also a member of the 55 Plus Club and the Senior Club at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Doris was an avid reader and in her younger days did many types of crafts. She loved spending time with her great grandchildren and all the family.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joanne B. Schuler son, David J. Hartzell and wife Betsy, former son-in-law, Frederick Schuler, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hartzell and brother, Marvin Fritzinger.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Arrangements, Connell Funeral Home.
