Doris Torres

Doris Torres, 65, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Hospice House of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. She was born January 10, 1942 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Fernando and Petra Vazquez Torres.

She was the loving wife of William R. Torres, they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this past November. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, son, Willie Torres, Jr.,& his wife Blenda, daughters, Jessica Torres and Maria Muniz all of Bethlehem, brothers, Oscar Torres, Raul Torres, Tony Serrano, Luis Nazario and Ruben Torres all of Chicago, IL; sisters, Iris Torres of Ponce, Puerto Rico and Sonya Torres of Chicago, IL; as well as five grandchildren.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park following the service.
