Dorothy A. Gimbar

Dorothy A. Gimbar, 85, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully in her home in Andreas, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Johanna (Exel) and William Sterner. She was the loving wife of the late John Gimbar.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Steve Sterner and his wife, Cindy, Basil Gimbar and his wife, Annie and David Gimbar and his wife, Irene; daughters, Theresa Taibi and her husband, Salvatore and Lisa Chuck; brothers, Edward, Richard and Gary Sterner; sisters, Geraldine Sterner and Maryjane Cikovich; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother William Sterner.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
