Dorothy Arnold Heist

Dorothy Arnold Heist, 89, of Williamsport, Md. formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. passed away on Friday October 26, 2012 at the Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport, Maryland. She was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pa., daughter of the late Lea E. Arnold Sr. and Elsie E. (Hunter) Arnold. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Heist.

Dorothy was an assistant manager for Modern Talking Pictures an education film library. She was a former member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Priscilla wife of Douglas Horner of Shepherdstown, W.Va., grandson, Jeremy Horner of Shepherdstown, W.Va., granddaughter, Jessica wife of Martin Herbert IV of Ranson, W.Va., great grandson, Connor, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Phoebe Arnold, and Marjorie Maerz and husband Russell and a brother Lea E. Arnold Jr. and wife Helen.

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Saturday November 3, 2012 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. Calling hours will be from 10-11AM in the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
