Dorothy C. Sass

Dorothy C. Sass, 87, of Coopersburg, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. She was born March 12, 1920 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Earl and CatherineCarringtonRodgers. She was the loving wife of Maurice F. Sass of Coopersburg. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this past August 11th.

Dorothy worked for Bethlehem Steel in the Accounts Payable Dept. She also worked for the Coopersburg IGA Supermarket in the office. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church of Colesville. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Maurice,

son, Maurice "Bud" Sass of Park City, Utah; daughter, Patricia Ann Sass-Perry of Kennebunk, Maine; and a sister, Kathleen Kohut of Knoxville, Tenn.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
