Dorothy E. Eagan

Dorothy E. Eagan Castagnera, 69, of Emmaus, died on Monday, December 26, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on January 25, 1942; she was the daughter of the late John Jr. and Dorothy Faulkner Eagan. She is survived by her companion of over 30 years, Ronald R. Castagnera. She is also survived by her sister, Diana Eagan.

She was a graduate of Moravian College and University of Pennsylvania. She worked for St. Luke's Hospital and taught at their school of nursing. She worked for the Allentown State Hospital where she was a supervisor and retired as a clinical specialist. She was also a Red Cross nurse.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a calling hour be held on Friday December 30th from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
