Dorothy E. Pavlinski

Dorothy Pavlinski, 95, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Monday July 26, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus. She was born in Hazleton, PA the daughter of the late John and Susan (Popso) Stefanik. She was the wife of the late Michael R. Pavlinski. Dorothy was raised in Stockton, PA and moved to Hazleton after going to elementary school in Stockton and High School in Hazle Twp. She married Michael in Hazleton and moved to Beaver Brook before coming to Bethlehem, PA. Dorothy worked as a seamstress for the Rival Dress Co. in McAdoo, and the former Pembroke Dress Co. in Bethlehem for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and former Vice President of the OLPH Friendship Club. She was also the former Vice President of the Bethlehem Senior Citizens. Dorothy was known as the “Sweater Lady” and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael J. Pavlinski, daughter, Dorothy Ann P. Zimmerman, brother, Robert Stefanik and wife Charlotte, grandchildren, David Zimmerman, and Kimberly Sheppard and husband Scott, and great grandchildren Faith Sheppard, and Christian Sheppard. She was predeceased by her brother John Stefanik and sister Lillian Morton.

A viewing will be held from 4-6pm Friday July 30, 2021 and 9:30-10:30am Saturday July 31st at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
