Dorothy I. Resetco

Dorothy I. Resetco, 72, of Allen Township passed away on March 15, 2015. She was the loving wife of Thomas E. Resetco for over 45 years. She was born in Kingston, Pa. on May 12, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Irene (Ondish) Wascura. Dorothy graduated from Liberty High School in 1960, and attended Bethlehem Business School. She retired from the Guardian Life Insurance Co, and was also employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Meridian Bank. She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she held various offices. She was a 10 year volunteer at Musikfest. During her ongoing illness she was lovingly cared for at home by her husband and dedicated staff from St. Lukes Hospice.

She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Thomas, son, Jeffrey Resetco and wife Beth and step grandchildren, Savannah and Chase Ring of Alexandria, VA., daughter, Jill Gruver and husband Nicholas, and grandson Zander, granddaughter, Abigail of N. Catasauqua, step son, Randy Resetco and wife Diane, step grandchildren Christopher Resetco, and Michael and Marissa Baker of Holly Springs, NC, step daughter, Rhonda Coates and husband Tim of Holiday, Florida, sister, Marian Wascura, and brother, Robert Wascura and wife Sarah, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday March 18, 2015 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A viewing will be held from 9:30am until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VNA St. Lukes Hospice 801 Ostrum St. c/o Development Office Bethlehem, Pa. 18015.
