Dr. Antonio S. Garcia

Dr. Antonio ?Tony? S. Garcia, 72, of Hamburg, PA died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in his home.

Born October 16, 1934 in the Philippines he was the son of the late Alberto S. and Adeliada Lily S. Garcia.

Tony was physician at Hamburg Center and the Emergency Room of Palmerton Hospital prior to joining the practice of Dr. Reynaldo Guerra in Bath. He was a graduate of The University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. He was member of St Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Hamburg, where he sang in the church choir. He was an avid chess player and also enjoyed his time on the tennis court.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, Merciditas G. Gil, Joselito S. Garcia, Alberto S. Garcia, Jr; Henry S. Garcia, Marilen G. Asturias, and Sonia S. Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lourdes G. Gallo.

SERVICES

A wake will be held on Monday April 9, 2007 from 6-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hamburg Center, Old Route 22 Hamburg PA 19526 in memory of Dr. Garcia.
